Hey everyone.
Mark it on your calendars! November 15 is officially “Write Jason in Prison Day”. The original idea was to write and actually send…you know…. letters to Jason via snail mail; however, the inside scoop is that letters sent by conventional post run the very real risk of being tossed in the trash by the prison administrators when they arrive. Jason’s friends and family have set up a web input box on the “Free JasonP” website (http://freejasonp.com/write-jason/). Messages entered there and will be printed off and hand delivered by family members and lawyers who are allowed to visit Jason in jail.
For those of you who’ve visited the Free JasonP site (http://freejasonp.com/), you know that in August he was wrongfully convicted by a Nicaraguan court and sentenced to spend 22 years in prison. His family and friends are working to secure his release, but there’s a ton of work to be done and for now, he needs to hunker down and wait for the cavalry. In the meantime, words of support and encouragement from friends and supporters mean the world to him.
Please take a few minutes on the 15th, go to the website and drop him a quick note to let him know he’s not alone and that people on outside know of his story and care.

Hey guys,
This is just a quick reminder that "Write Jason in Prison Day" is only two days away! The guy has no business being in prison, and words of support and encouragement will mean a lot to him. Go learn about Jason's case at freejasonP.com and stop in at http://freejasonp.com/write-jason/ by November 15 to leave him a support note.

Thanks Jstanz!
Just as a reminder to everyone else, tomorrow is "Write Jason in Prison Day". Make sure you got visit the Jason Puracal support site at freejasonp.com, inform yourself about his wrongful conviction and then, take a few minutes to send him a support note at http://freejasonp.com/write-jason/. His sisters just got back from visiting Jason in prison, and while it was great for them to see him, Jason is having a miserable time in the absolute worst and most barbaric prison in Nicaragua. Words from home mean the world to him, and words from other parts of the world will mean even more. Take just a few minutes and let him know that you know he exists and that you give a damn what is happening to him.

Okay, this is wierd, but now I'm quoting my own posts - I just liked the one I wrote a few hours ago so much that I just had to repeat it again. This is just a reminder that the day is coming to a close, but there's still time to celebrate "Write Jason in Prison" day by jumping over to http://freejasonp.com/write-jason/ and blasting Jason off a quick support note. It'll mean a lot to him to know that you're out there, you know who he is and that you care what happens to him.

Last call, friends of Jason Puracal. "Write Jason in Prison" day is almost over. If you haven't already, inform yourself about Jason's story at freejasonP.com and then write him a support note at http://freejasonp.com/write-jason/.
For those who have not checked out Jason's story, let me say this.
Amanda Knox and Raffaele Sollecito are free because people like you found the injustice they suffered intolerable and you chose to act! Tonight, a good man, a husband and a father went to bed tonight in one of the most horrible prisons in Central America. Right now, right this minute, his life is in danger. The prosecution had their chance to make the case that Jason Puracal was a drug trafficker and conspired to launder money related to drug trafficking. They didn't even come close. We don't know why Jason is in prison, and that alone is enough to make men and women of good conscience stand and say "If he is to spend his life in jail, we must know why!" The fact of the matter is, we don't know why. If he was really a drug trafficker and money launderer, don't you think the prosecution would have made it clear to us that he was, and exactly how he did it?
Please! Please join me in reaching out to Jason to say, "We know you're there! We care about what happens to you! We will not leave you to face this horror as an anonymous victim of the pride and arrogance of foolish and cowardly men!"
